What is Nutrition Response Testing®?

Nutrition Response Testing is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body to determine the underlying causes of ill health. When these are corrected through safe, natural, nutritional means, the body can repair itself in order to attain and maintain more optimum health.

Nutrition Response Testing is precise. It is scientific. And it is probably very different from anything you may have experienced before. Rather than diagnose and treat, we analyze and recommend each client’s personalized health improvement program through nutrition and nutritional supplements. To attain the best results possible, we make sure the client fully understands the science behind Nutrition Response Testing and how that forms the basis for our recommendations.

What are Center for Nutritional Healing’s three phases of health restoration?

At Center for Nutritional Healing we recommend three phases for health restoration:

1.     Fine-tuning Phase – During this phase, you will commence the initial supplement program and we monitor your diet and make recommendations for essential improvements you will need to make in order to maximize your gains. This phase typically lasts six to eight weeks and depends on the rate your body responds and your level of commitment to the program.

2.     Healing and Observation Phase – During the initial Healing and Observation Phase, we monitor your active organs and body areas to make sure everything is responding appropriately to the program, and make recommendations in the event further layers arise that require changes to nutrition and supplements. Everyone’s healing and observation phase is different – some longer than others – depending on their individual situation. This phase also includes a re-evaluation of your progress to determine your actual rate of recovery.

3.     Maintenance Phase – Maintain your more optimized health by adhering to an ongoing health maintenance program designed to meet your specific needs. We may recommend you retain some of your current program and/or make changes to supplements for long-term benefits. Office visits over the next year and beyond let us protect and continue to improve your health together.

What can I expect during my first appointments?

There are two appointments in the evaluation process: 1. the Evaluation and 2. the Report of Findings.

  1. Your first appointment is the Evaluation where we start to gather a wealth of information about you and your health. It is approximately 90 minutes in length.

At your Evaluation, you’ll start by filling out health information forms. Then, we'll perform some preliminary testing by having you step on a special scale for important metabolic measurements (weight, body fat, skeletal muscle percentage, visceral fat level, etc.) and have you take a zinc taste test to give us an idea if you’re deficient. Then we'll do a computerized Health Express Test (a,k.a. Heart Rate Variability Test), which tells us how well your nervous system is functioning, may alert us to a stressed thyroid, and gives us an idea of your physiological age compared to your actual chronological age. You'll discuss your health situation, goals, and readiness with owner/practitioner Cindy Harrington. Then, she'll perform the Nutrition Response Testing analysis, an amazing system of muscle testing that determines the root causes of your health issues and the exact nutrition your unique body needs to turn things around in the form of changes to diet and supplementation.

A day or two after your Evaluation, you’ll go to LabCorp for Advanced Lab Testing. At Labcorp, you’ll have blood and urine taken so Cindy can prepare the Nutritional Blood Chemistry Analysis in time for your next appointment, the Report of Findings, in about one week.

  2. The Report of Findings appointment takes place approximately one week after your Evaluation and your trip to Labcorp to have blood and urine collected. It is approximately 40-60 minutes in length. At this appointment, Cindy will share her findings from the wealth of information she has gathered about you and your health and will recommend a personal Clinical Nutrition Program based on your unique situation. You'll get invaluable information you've probably not gotten anywhere else, ever. And you’ll have an opportunity to change your health and your life for the better.

What supplements do you recommend?

We utilize the best supplements on the market, including Standard Process, Biocell Ultravital, MediHerb, Energetix, HVS Laboratories, CellCore Biosciences, Systemic Formulas, Premier Research Labs, Deseret Biologicals / DesBio, Body Health, Nordic Naturals Pro, Southern Botanicals, and Marco Pharma International. These supplements include whole-food concentrates, herbal, homeopathic, and stem cell formulations of the highest quality. You will find all our supplements to be effective and maderately priced.

How many appointments will I need?

The number of appointments you will need depends on your individual situation. Your Personalized Health Improvement Program includes three phases: fine-tuning, healing and observation, and maintenance. The first two phases last a minimum of 4–9 months (longer for the maintenance phase).

We closely monitor your progress and perform periodic retesting. Additional layers may show up requiring further nutritional recommendations. We also offer low level light/laser treatments for healing scar fiber tissue that inhibits healing. These treatments are offered on an as-need basis.

When can I expect to see results?

Every client’s situation is unique. Some experience results in as few as 1-2 weeks. Individual success depends on how closely you follow through on our recommendations and if you remain with the program long enough to achieve maximum correction of the underlying causes of your problems.
