Do you have symptoms of ill health? Perhaps you have a diagnosis from a medical doctor. Or you are living with fatigue, allergies, weight gain, anxiety, pain, PMS, or a gastro-intestinal issue? A food sensitivity could be the root cause, no matter your condition and no matter the severity of your symptoms. At Center for Nutritional Healing, we routinely test our clients to determine if a food is contributing to their issues. We use a non-invasive system called Nutrition Response Testing®. It’s done in the office and is a quick, thorough and reliable way to assess the body’s needs for healing.
Your particular body could be sensitive to absolutely any food. Some examples are eggs, dairy, chicken, sugar, wheat, and soy. If you are sensitive to a food, it is likely weakening your body by stressing organs, glands or other areas such as muscles or joints - unbeknownst to you! Once you are empowered with the knowledge of the food you are sensitive to, you can make changes that can lead to dramatic improvements in your health.
Some folks gradually eliminate the offending food, others go off the food “cold-turkey.” At Center for Nutritional Healing, we work with you to determine the best approach. Once the food has been eliminated, it’s recommended you not eat it for at least 90 days to give your body an opportunity to heal. After 90 days, try a little bit of the food and watch for about 48 hours to see how your body reacts. If you experience a reaction, you’ll naturally want to stay away from the offending food for a while longer. If your body does not react, you may reintroduce that food to your diet – but caution is advised.
